Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TrafPilot ("TrafPilot", "we", "us", or "our") accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our Google Ads campaign management software (the "Service"). We are committed to handling data responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and the policies of the platforms we integrate with, including the Google API Services User Data Policy.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to users who connect a Google Ads account to TrafPilot and to visitors of this website. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we access
To provide the Service, and only after you explicitly authorize access, TrafPilot may access:
- Google Ads account data retrieved through the Google Ads API, such as campaigns, ad groups, keywords, negative keywords, ads, budgets, bids, and performance metrics (clicks, impressions, cost, conversions, and search terms).
- Basic account identifiers such as the Google Ads customer ID(s) you choose to manage.
- OAuth authorization tokens issued by Google that allow the Service to act on your behalf within the scope you approve.
We do not request access to more data than is necessary to operate the features you use.
3. How we use information
We use the information solely to provide and improve the Service, specifically to:
- Generate performance reports and surface insights about your campaigns.
- Create, update, or remove keywords and negative keywords at your direction.
- Adjust bids and budgets and manage campaigns, ad groups, and ads.
- Maintain logs of actions performed so you can review changes.
We do not sell your data. We do not use Google user data for advertising to you, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as described in this policy.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
TrafPilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use access to Google data to provide user-facing features that are prominent in the Service.
5. Data storage and retention
Authorization tokens and configuration are stored securely and used only to make authorized API calls. Performance data retrieved from the Google Ads API is processed to provide reports and is retained only for as long as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your choices" below).
6. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Credentials are kept in protected storage and are never shared publicly. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
7. Sharing of information
We do not share your Google Ads data with third parties, except:
- with your consent or at your direction;
- to comply with applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process; or
- with service providers that support our infrastructure, bound by confidentiality obligations and permitted to use the data only to provide services to us.
8. Your choices
- Revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and advertisers and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
